Good you sorted out the wheels, its handy to know what sizes don't scrape.
I haven't heard of any gearboxes as an easy conversion for RWD,but anything is possible. There are a number of AWD converted jumbucks around these days,I suppose in that case you could just disconnect the front driveshafts Not sure why you would want too. AWD will get of the mark quicker.I would be interested to hear from anybody doing a RWD conversion,it would still be good.
Who knows Matt maybe you can be the first.Keep us posted.

Hey group
well finally sorted my tyre scraping issue.
replaced front tyres with 205/45/17
no more scraping @ full lock.
its hard to tell the difference from front to back as tyre width only 10mm
difference.
Qn: does anyone know how hard/possible it would be to change the power train
to RWD??
was reading an article on jumbuck which said hey could've easily made the
jumbuck RWD but would've put the price higher....intersted to hear others
thoughts on it.
i dont really want AWD as i already have an AWD holden cross8
cheers
