Hi All
After 10 weeks of searching Sports Bar/Ladder Racks outlets and
makers,I have been unable to find anyone who makes a Carry Bar for
the JUMBUCK with a HARD COVER fitted,so I setout to make my own.
I decided to make one out of 50mm steel steam pipe with a 4mm wall
thickness.
Because I am unable to weld aluminium.Anyway borrowed a pipe bender
and bent the pipe to go between the body fines behind the rear
window.
All the mounting plates on this bar are stainless steel, too prevent
rust at the body contact points.
Photo's of this bar have been uploaded to photo folder if someone is
interested to look.
My next project will be to make a front and rear carry bars to
enable me to carry 6 meter lengths of material,Just to make the
JUMBUCK more versatile with a hard cover fitted.
I will post more photo's in the comeing weeks of this project to
inspire someone to make an aluminium bar and post some photo's too.
regards neil
