Rebuild Update

Hi Guys
So,Whats everybody doing.
Me well I got my block and parts back from the machine shop on friday
The block has been bored 20 thou. oversize bores have been honed block
was decked crankshaft was balanced flywheel balanced pistons balanced
conrods balanced harmonic balancer balanced. The cost for all that
work was $480.00 which I thought was pretty reasonable for what is
involved.
So I spent Saturday setting the piston ring gaps and installing the
ACL bearing set and crankshaft ready for oil clearance checking,(which
reminds me) I bought a 3 piece crank scraper set from the states for
the 93t.I have posted a pic of it if you want to see what it is and I
will post more when it is installed so you can see it all fitted up.
Im currently making stainless steel flanges for the throttle body, air
flow meter and turbo outlet ready for the pipe welding and adapters.
It is a slow process, lots of work and parts all hand made but in the
end everything will be brand new. The Forged conrods are all fitted to
the forged pistons and ready to check the clearances after the
crank,so im full on at the moment, thats in between work, family, xmas
coming up and the day to day maintance of the house and two other cars
kids and a cat.
Fhew.. I have posted more pics of the block, bores, rings in the
bore, showing the ring gap etc. if you want to have a look.
More latter as I progress.
