Re: Anyone else own a yella one

When I purchased my original Jumbi, I did so on "salary sacrifice" via
a leasing company. I have recently paid it out. A friend of mine made
me an offer on it which I couldn't refuse (almost the price of a new one).
He liked it because of the work I'd only just had done to it. I bought
a GT28 A/R42 turbo on eBay and had it and larger injectors fitted by a
mate of a mate. I was just getting a feel for the extra sting when the
offer came so, bye bye baby. I picked up another one the other day.
Same year( '05)but now I've got a few extra dollars in my pocket. The
Jumbi will now become the missus' car and I'm going the start work on
a project that's been on the shelf for about the last 8 years - a 1969
Volvo 144S.

The yellow dash is one I picked up at a wreckers and painted. I still
had the original, which I put back in for its new owner.

My goof: I did mean the SPEEDO. It got to the stage where, when you
got over about 120 it would wander around wherever it felt like it. I
told Brisbane Proton and they got me in a new dash. Unfortunately,
they set the speedo to the current mileage. Would've been nicer of
them to leave it at ZERO. lol

repaint it in the original silver color.Probably cost less than the
postage.

faulty,or did you mean speedo not tacho? is it under warranty? Hope
you can sort that out.
