Hi All
Well after nearly 5 months,IT'S ENGINEERED,was sent a copy yesterday
and have to pick up the originals this week..
The last issue was the rear suspension height,I have had to raise the rear up as
there is no way to comply with lowered rear springs fitted.
The absolute min height allowable taking into account the extra 235kg tare
weight is 376mm min height from the center of the wheel to the top of the wheel
arch.So now it sits 30mm higher at the rear than the front
This I will just have to live with..But it's all done..
Last hurdle is a blue slip then RTA..
Regards Neil

hey guys,

as you may have seen on evocoupe, im doing some stuff to my rear end on the jummy, my first idea failed :( but ill be dropping my alxe off to a machining company to have it modified, to suit my needs... Cos of this i have now been out back another week or two, time will tell i surpose

once i get it back ill get some pixs and if it works ill get some made to sell... As this will lower your jumbuck without putting the useless king springs in

ill keep you posted on this hopefully if it does cost me too much it will all go ahead and i can sell these

cheers, ben

the first idea was just to put it ontop of the springs.... this way kinda works but the wheel is still in the same spot, if not lower down, which means more height... so onto the next idea, which requires abit of work but should cost the same amount as a set of "kings"

keep you posted on the next idea... once i get it back ill get some pixs

Well done Neil, it's a good feeling driving something you've put together yourself.
As far as mine is going, I've got the vented fronts and rear discs and callipers, a set of alloy wheels, a race seat that I'm adapting to Proton seat rails, a better reverse light arrangement, a rear anti roll bar to fit up, the aluminium ladder rack to make up, a cromoly internal roll hoop with harness mounts to build, and I'm still tinkering with its brain.
So, as soon as work slackens off just a little bit, I'll have time to do all this stuff!!
Cheers,
Pete.

Sounds like you still have lots to do mate, you gotta get on to it
soon,I hope to see some pics of the rear anti roll bar, been looking into that
myself lately, they make them for other Ute's,can't see why something couldn't be
adapted up to suit. Keep me posted.
