look in person if possable. Come on guys hit us with everything you have.
I still love my Jumbuck.

hi guy's , i have not experienced the problem with the rears. i get very little dust from the fronts to. i've been running 17" wheels from day one , maybe it might have something to do with it. jeff
Hi Matt Yes my rear brakes do the same, just as you are pulling up at lights or stop sighns,it drives me nuts.I had our service centre have a look at my 10,000 service and they cleaned all the break shoe dust out of the drum and they were fine for about 2month but it has come back and so far I haven't had time to do it again.but I will have too soon,It does drive you crazy its quite loud. regards Neil

And also has anyone thought about upgraded rear brakes from drum to disc

In response to your other query, modern engines use torque to yield head bolts. This means they are torqued to a given value then turned a further 1/4 or 1/2 turn( depending on manufacturer/ design) As such, head bolts cannot be re-torqued. The bolts must be replaced whenever the head is removed. Head gaskets are designed for this method. Having said all that, I don't know whether

Hi Guys I have just had a mate drop bye after haveing a blown head gasket replaced on his Jumbuck. He has done 38,000 ks and was told by the service centre machanic that it is a common problem with them around 40,000 ks. I have only done 15,000ks in 2 years and will well and truly be out of warrenty at 40k. That could be quite and expence if it is common. Whats your thoughts guys, anyone else confirm this problem. I was considering a jumbuck because I like the idea of having a
vehicle that can perform many tasks, is a petrol miser and hopefully can be driven on dirt or gravel tracks.

hi guy's, jeff here i ' ve just had a fiddle with my shifter and found i forgot to put in the little bush that sits on the bottom of the origional shifter arm. oh dopey me ( covered in grease ) if any one has done the same it takes a fair bit of movement out when going for 1st gear hope this helps all. jeff
Hi Pommy Thanks for the report, Im sure it is much better than the cheaper one I bought, but when you add another $30 bucks postage to the east coast, your looking at $300.00 exchange and another $130.00 deposit untill you return your standard shifter. It made the $80.00 one very attractive and I still have the origanal to put back in if I need to. If you get a chance, and have the console out for some other MOD,how about posting some clear pics of the shifter,I would like to see how they keep it tight.I may be able to improve mine. Thanks.
