Hi everyone!
I just joined, and am enjoying reading the stories so far! But I just
had a quick question: I was trying to access chapters 6-8 of the HP
with the X-Men crossover, and the links aren't working. Is it just
me? Could someone please let me know how to access the chapters?
Thank you!

Great updates, loved them. Can't wait to read more and see what happenes.

Alla:
Oh, Kate. I LOVE Azkaban Heir, in fact I love it more and more with
every chapter.
Long promised confrontation between Corban and Draco was
**hilarious**. Draco has waaay too much to learn to try to best
Corban, hehe.
And yes, even though I cannot stand Draco, I think that JKR hinted
rather loudly that she is going to somehow redeem him.
I love, love that you made Snape loyal to himself in this story (
and I so keep my fingers crossed that you won't change it, hehe. No
pressure of course ;), but it is SO hard to find stories that
Snape's behaviour is not being excused ( and yes, I know all the
arguments about him being loyal to DD, and I know that you prefer
him being good and make him good in all your other stories, so I am
doubly grateful to you for not writing him as loyal Dumbledore man
in this story)
Harry's comment about school security was also hilarious and so very
spot on.
I mean, really Hogwarts well protected? HAHA for all the reasons you
stated and I also would love to be the fly on the wall, when Ressan
was running his mouth at Dumbledore.
Those Grey mages characters are so much fun.
I actually have a question about them. In your universe does every
witch and wizard has an innate ability to become a Grey mage or is
this ability different from what every magical child who goes to
Hogwarts has?
I mean, Eban's comments about Grey magics were erm.... evasive. :)
Thanks,
Alla.
YAY!!!!!!!
thankees!!!

One point... I think Corban trying to redeem Draco is a good idea...
If he had someone else to listen to ... he wouldn't have ended up the way he did..
To bad Sev was bad in this... he's my favorite character..

Hi. I've just finished reading 'Guild of Night' and its sequel. I
wanted to tell you that I've really enjoyed them and am looking
forward to reading the sequel to "Crystaline Darkness". Any idea of
when that one is going to be started?
Well, I'm off to read 'trinity' now. :-)
Say what you want but Ginny has always been a strong person. Sure she
had a crush on Harry but she was always tough to believe he was a
grand hero, the way I see it when she got to know him she found they
had allot in common. I think Ginny is good for Harry she keeps him
grounded. As for them being too young... I would agree. But they are
both more mature than there ages show.
Which is not true. at least not in the book. If I remember corectly, and I ddo,
then Fred and George even tease Ginny about that. Ginny dated at least three
boys and Harry had Cho. You have to add that the wizarding world is a bit closed
off by the muggle world, so there are less people you can date (without lying to
them about the existence of wizards...).
I don´t think that it´s wrong that they found their love at such a young age.
You just have to think about what Harry and Ginny had to go through. They are
adults in my mind.

to most young people, age is not a factor. age is rarely a factor in what the young do but in what I read of harry potter and the fan fics written about him and his life and experiences, I get the impression that he was raises with exceptional morals and an exceptional sense of right ahd wrong and a sense of duty (due to the prophecy he lives under) and would not marry or become involed in a serious relationship until he felt that those he cared about were safe and he felt that anyone involved with him was threatened as shown in the 6th( i think) book when he ends his relationship with ginny to keep her safe.
Congrats on your relationship :)
Everyone is entitled to their opinion and I was voicing mine as well as asking a question

this is true however, you must understand that people married young and died young. however, harry potter isn't set in the 1700s, it starts in the 1970s with the murder of his parents

I believe this situation is being read into far to deeply. Harry found a love interest end of story.

I have just got to say this is a great story. As for ships I have always liked H/G but I could also see Harry having somthing with another character(slash or het) while he gets closer to Ginny(long live queen Ginny) For me it always goes back to the red hair, I also like Ron/harry but I dont think Ron would be a very good queen.

A solution to the problem is as follow.
Open a 2nd window (or tab in Netscape). Copy the shortcut for a chapter from the first window and then paste it into the URL line of the 2nd window. When you finish the chapter, go back to the original window and copy the shortcut for the next chapter and then paste it into your second window's URL line.
It's a bit fussy but it works.

Ginny not having a strong character???
Okay, people not liking her I can accept (as much as I love her). But
how anyone could *possibly* say she doesn't have a strong character is
beyond me. What's your evidence (from canon, not fanfic)? If it's
all from the first two books then you should bear in mind that she was
10-12 then...
I would say she's extremely strong & possessive.
I still don't think this should be a H/G fic, though.

Exactly my thought. Harry has never thought of Ginny as a sister, of Hermione
maybe but never of Ginny. Ginny was meant for Harry since the day they first met
on platform 9 3/4. And about Ginny´s crush on Harry. Ginny was ten/eleven years
old, what do you expect? Hermione had a crush on Lockhart in her second year.
That´s perfectly normal.
After book two we don´t see much of Ginny until order of the phoenix, and she
changed in the meantime. She got over her crush and matured.
She is in every aspect Harry´s perfect match, she is lively, stubborn enough to
get through to Harry and has a miscievous streak.

Well, not according to Ginny's creator. JKR says Ginny is Harry's perfect match. I never saw his feelings for her as that of a sister. I've always liked Ginny, from the moment she tried to race after the Hogwarts Express in the very first book. I loved her joy that would make her do something like that. She also understands Harry, having been possessed by Voldemort, as no other person in the books can understand. I like her a lot.

I personally can't understand the facination with pairing harry and ginny. I mean c'mon...harry thought of her as a sister and she is the younger sister of his best friend. In the world I live in, sisters of best friends and those females that are considered sisters are way off limits. beskdes, according to everything I've read, Ginny is way too manipulative and eventually harry would see that. she isn't really interested in harry as she is in being the girlfriend/wife of the boy who lived and that in itself would turn harry off on ginny

I see nothing wrong with dating the sister of your best friend. As
for Harry thinking of her like a sister; at first maybe, but they were
kids then. As they grew up his perspective changed. They're not
legally or biologically related in any way; they're perfectly free to
be together.
As for Ginny being manipulative - no. Lol. Maybe in some fanfiction,
but in canon no. She is *not* interested in Harry purely as the Boy
Who Lived, it's just not true. Okay, when they first met she had a
crush on him because of his fame - but she was ten. Ten year olds
crush on celebrities, it's just what they do! She's grown up,
matured, gone through horrible experiences (Chamber of Secrets etc),
and she's now a very different person than she was in the early books.
In fanfic I tend to read mostly Snarry, but in canon I support
Harry/Ginny all the way.
Maybe you've just read loads of fanfics where Ginny's portrayed really
badly? ;)
