Tawa had a religious programme on 88.1... the school on 88.2 (eek)

Then Pak n save on 88.3 (well... almost!!)

88.2  or 88.4 wasn't an option then

nor is 88.5 for obvious reasons..

We already have 106.7, 107, 107.3, 107.4 in use...

I can't see why there would be a problem in Tawa. There must be loads of space.
It amazes me that new players don't seem to look first before firing up...

Hi all

Does anyone know who is broadcasting on 88.3 in Wellington?
This is really the nail in our coffin as we already have someone on 88.5
(illegally). We're stuck in the middle on 88.4 and our signal has been
completely obliterated.
We've just managed to organise the best possible tx site for low power in
wellington and now there is no point in using it. I am soooo frustrated and
disapointed at having to give up like this after 7 years of trying to run
radio stations and loosing tens of thousands of dollars along the way.

You guys who have coverage are very lucky. I was green with envy listening
to the low power stations in Nelson (and elsewhere)...

Dean
