(Do the rules actually state anywhere
what language your station id has to be in?)
Here in NZ we are very slack on that.
We state a car has to have warning labels on it, but we don't stte they
have to be in English....
...and so the market is flooded with 2nd hand Jap imports.
There is no requirement on the GURL to state the name of your station
in a New Zealand national language.
You could use Swahili and still be within the regulations
Jochen.

I wonder if its the same asian station that has recently started
transmitting on 107.7 somewhere in Takapuna or thereabouts...
Often the volume is very low and it sounds like some sort of internet
station or something that someone is rebroadcasting...
I've listened for quite a while and have never heard any sort of
station
ID.... at least not in english... (Do the rules actually state

what language your station id has to be in?)
Its certainly affected our coverage from the harbour bridge north...
If
you find out who it is I'd quite like to talk to them about better
frequency selection options that might work better for everyone :)
