I use a Veronica 1 watt pll model.... what part of NZ are you in?
I'm in Dunedin.... I guess it would be cheapest for you to get someone in your
own town look at it.
Do you have a 50 ohm dummy load you can connect to the aerial socket instead
of your aerial? It should enable you to rule out any possible aerial
problems? If you have recently changed frequency you may have to adjust the
VFO I think its called.
