Hi Maurice,

Did you have any luck with this?
Just wondering if you can help.... if you can't, or don't have time,
I'd really appreciate it if you could let me know.
1. My NRG transmitter is tuned to 88.4. It's currently being stomped
on by someone else, and so without having an aerial, it's even
pointless having the thing turned on -- the signal is just too awful
to listen to.
I need to re-tune the Tx to another frequency. Can you help?
2. I still have the aerial that you built for someone else, prior to
the 2003 airshow. You may recall I tried it out here after the
airshow, but it caused significant TV interference. I think you said
at the time it was because the aerial was not setup for this
particular Tx/frequency....?
Do you want this aerial back? It's sitting in my shed and is of no use to me.
3. Obviously we have another airshow coming up very soon (Easter).
It would be excellent if we could use my Tx for the show again, with
a good aerial that would give us some useful coverage.
Can you help?
In short, what I really need is:
a. The Tx re-tuned to a frequency that is not being used by someone
else here in Blenheim (either low or high in the FM band -- doesn't
bother me).
b. I need an aerial made specifically for this Tx/frequency so that
it will perform well without interfering with TV signals etc, and
will give me some coverage so that I can 'have' a local LPFM freq.
Obviously the fact that I was not broadcasting widely on 88.4 allowed
the other operator to step in and assume that frequency was unused.
c. For this to be done in the next fortnight....
At the moment the Tx is witched off -- as above, it's currently
unusable for me. I'd be willing to bring it out to Seddon for you to
have there if you think you would be able to help me in time for the
airshow etc. I'm also willing to pay, as I've previously noted.
Would be good if you could let me know your availability to help. At
this stage if I can't get something sorted out soon, I'm going to
have no choice but to sell the Tx to someone who can make better use
of it than I can (with my zero radio skills).
Cheers,
Allan
