BTW I have an ever increasing amount of locaklly written childrens stories here which I broadcast locally if your interested.

Some information I got from someone who knew him.
I have removed a few details.
 
Yes he was here in Nelson. He originated in Invercargill, here for several years then
off to the Wellington 2ZB Breakfast session.
I believe he and his wife live out at  Redwoods valley. He has been there for a number of years now.
