proposal for radio station in east auckland- 88.2,88.3, or 88.4   Message List

Hey!

We're planninig on going to air in east auckland side and cannot
decide on the frequency as we're not sure whats around us. If anyone
can give us an email letting us know that their radio station might
be interfering with us in Howick/cocklebay botany, meadowlands, north
park, or anywhere near us let us know.

at the moment we cant pick up anything in that spectrum so we need
your help please!

If we go for 88.4, mai fm has quite a strong signal. Do you think it
will affect my signal or degrade it in anyway, and if so, do you
think we can ask them to limit their frequency range in howick, as
they are only supposed to be on 88.6

any help would be appreciated!

Thanks to Valdus Radio for all your help so far, Mike, your'e a
legend dude!

thanks!

Cath and Kermy

Hmm.. correction?! 88.1, 88.2 & 88.3 are all good low-LPFM frequencies in Auckland. Fleet FM has impressive coverage underneath the Skytower on 88.3 despite...

... The first answer is yes. Mai FM's licence is for an EIRP of 40dBW off the Sky Tower, therefore its presence will be quite strong in your area. They ARE...
