should have added that it is a professionally assembled STL at full power using
a legal free frequency just outside the wireless routers so there is no
interference.

You can get even higher powered bi-directional
amplifiers for use with
wifi. I have seen some 4W versions but I can't remember if they are
legal to use here.
With the right antennas and line of sight path, you'll easy do 80km on
that kind of power.
