TSOLPFMBI: Practical Workshop: a 2nd J-Pole construction session
================================================================

PLANNED FOR TUESDAY 20TH JANUARY 2009.

Greetings to all LPFM folk!

The Society Of Low Power FM Broadcasters Incorporated is planning on
holding a second J-Pole Antenna construction evening following
expressions of interest from a number of folk.

At our first Executive Committee Meeting held Tuesday 25th November
2008, we decided to set Tuesday 20th January 2009 as the date on which
to hold it. We plan to hold our second Executive Committee Meeting the
preceding Tuesday, rather than combine the two events, as our first
construction session on Tuesday 19th February 2008 followed on from a
meeting, and we ran short of time. We would look to get underway as
early as possible, say 6 pm.

At this stage I have expressions of interest from:

Robert Dew
Francis Thompson
Martyn Seay
Denis Wadsworth
Mark and Maureen Perry
Dave Dingley
Patrick Casey

We will probably have to set a limit of, say ten to twelve
registrants, so here is a call to you all for expressions of interest.

The last antenna constructions session cost members $40, and
non-members - $68. We expect the charges to be similar for the next
session, but will depend on the cost of the materials. Payment will be
required before construction begins.

There are other plans/projects in the pipeline, so stand by for
further announcements!

BRgd,
Peter Shaw
