J-Pole construction workshop #2, Tuesday 20th January 2009 at 6pm
=================================================================
Greetings to all LPFM folk, and HAPPY NEW YEAR! It's time to get
things moving for the 2009 year. We hope you have had a great Festive
Season break, and are managing to maintain your interest in LPFM
broadcasting despite the current economic climate.
Now, here is a reminder that The Society Of Low Power FM Broadcasters
Incorporated is holding a second J-Pole Antenna construction evening
on Tuesday 20th January 2009 at 6pm at the Auckland VHF Group club
rooms in Mount Roskill.
Here is a list of interested participants:
Francis Thompson, Waimate 88.1FM (flying up for the occasion)
Bob Dyer, TLC Radio Napier
Robert Dew, TLC Radio Otahuhu
Martyn Seay, Associate member, Point Chevalier
Denis Wadsworth, 106.7 New Plymouth
Dave Dingley, Spider 107.5
Patrick Casey, Hope City FM 106.7
Charles Graves
Owen Dawe (???)
Mark Perry, Mangawhai (???)
While we will be confirming these registrations, and there are a
couple that are in doubt, there is still room for a few more (we
believe twelve is the maximum). So here is THE LAST CALL for anyone
who wishes to participate to reply to me. The CUT OFF DATE IS THURSDAY
15th JANUARY 2009.
The last antenna constructions session cost members $40, and
non-members - $68. We expect the charges to be similar for the next
session, but will depend on the cost of the materials, which are being
sourced by Les Dixon (hence the cut off date). Payment will be
required before construction begins - we will accept your money at the
session.
Reply to this email if you wish to participate. For those listed
above, I'm emailing you separately.
