Hi,

This is a courtesy email advising the LPFM community of our intention
to resume broadcasting on 88.3 MHz in Wellington (West), after several
years of having vacated that frequency (the VBC took over 88.3 MHz in
Kelburn when moved off this frequency and to another area).

Our transmitter is located in north Wadestown (i.e. pretty much in the
Ngaio Gorge) so coverage is expected to extend only as far as South
Ngaio to the north and no further than Wadestown shops to the south.
A quick check of the area we broadcast indicates 88.3 MHz is a
suitable frequency for this location.

We have already emailed the VBC who also broadcast on 88.3 MHz in
Kelburn to let them know, although there is no chance of any
interference because of the geographically separate areas.
