Winamp (www.winamp.com) is a good start. It's free, but you need 'plug ins' to make it more than just a player. Some cost, some don't. From my experience of late, it's quite hard to find them on their website since they released their 'Winamp 3' player. If you go with Winamp, try the last Winamp 2 (v2.81) first, as the general concensus I've heard so far is that it's much more functional that the new version, something I'd have to agree with.

But for something a little more functional(?), you could try Ross Levis's 'Station playlist' (www.stationplaylist.com). There is a small one-off cost for this, but from all reports is definately value for money.

(The cheques in the mail, right Ross? (hehe))

Cheers, Bryan.
