I think the 1 watt NRG transmitter is recommended because of it's reliability (and price... it is similar to the NRG 300mw and 600mW transmitters). Hopefully...

Not Exactly The 4 watt model has a Jumper on the board... remove it... and it straight away it becomes a 1 watt model.... buying the 4 watt model is future...
