The MSA Mail List (http://au.groups.yahoo.com/group/MSA_Mail_List/) was established in 2005 to provide up-to-date and relevant news to members of the MSA (see http://www.msa.org.au/) and to provide a forum for the scholarly discussion of music research using current mail list management tools. The list performs three primary functions: a) to circulate the MSA E-News Bulletin to members; b) to provide news and announcements from outside the MSA to members; c) to foster online communication between MSA members. This list is a closed list and is provided as a service to the members of the MSA.

The MSA Mail List is a moderated list. All messages sent to the list must be approved by the list Moderator before their posting to all members. The Moderator's discretion in granting approval to sent messages is based upon existing conventions and policies set out below.
