RE: [SFFiG] Discworld Game at SFFiG

Hi again,
I'll see what I can do. Totally alien to me at this stage, but what better way to become accustomed or familiarised with the game.
Ciao

Carmel

Subject: [SFFiG] Discworld Game at SFFiG

For all our Discworld fans, and those keen to learn more about the series, on Friday 6th June we'll be hosting a Significant Quest game!
Significant Quest is a fan-made game based on the Discworld setting where you become a God and collect believers from characters and pit them against your rival Gods, travelling around the Disc in an effort to be the number 1 God and crush all in your wake. Just a little friendly competition as far as Gods go.
The game works best with many players, so far the record is ten, let's try for bigger again!

When: Friday 6th June  7pm
Where: Girl Guides Hall,  33 Myers st Geelong
Cost: $3*

Nb: Significant Quest is allowed by Terry Pratchett for fan gaming only. It is not a professionally produced game. All names and ideas stemming from the Discworld series within the game belong to Terry Pratchett.
* Cost is put towards hire of venue, any revenue stays with the club. No money is in anyway associated with the game itself.

Ben Hughes,
Ambivalent Overlord.

True, you don't have to know Discworld at all to play, it all explains itself as you go. And afterwards we can recommend which books you should start with to...
