--- I suppose it is time I moved into the 21Century and had a go at one
of these online groups, so here I am.
Carmel, 40+, two adult kids (surely that's a contradiction) and a
hubby, all of whom like our SF in one form or another. Basically, I
love a good movie, good book,comic, album (cd or vinyl) or tv series,
and odly enough, a fair few of my faves seem to be SF.
It came as a shock to me, when I realised 'I am a geek.' Surely not me.
Me of the coolness factor 10, but alas, I am.
I am a writer, both fic and non fic, but do lousy SF myself, so leave
that to those with the gift. I work with disabled children and do heaps
of volunteer work.
I cannot say how much I can contribute to a group like this as my
knolwedge, although extensive, is hampered by memory problems, unless
of course, it is related to anything by Joss Wheadon (we're not worthy,
we're not worthy.)
Yay, to the instigators of this club and best wishes for its success.
