In 2007 staff from various schools within the Faculty of Health, Medicine, Nursing & Behavioural Sciences at Deakin entered two teams in the Alcoa Australian Corporate Head of the River Event (a rowing race to raise money for United Way). We are again entering a crew in the 2008 competition to be held on Saturday 13th October, 2008. The crew includes 8 staff members from Psychology in Geelong. To raise money for the entry fee for this event we are holding a Trivia Night on Friday 5th of September, 2008, 7.30pm at the Waterfront Cafe at Deakin. This evening promises to be highly entertaining. A similar event was held last year and we had a great turnout from both staff and students.
