Yes, it's that exciting!

After our last couple of increasingly successful events we can see we're on the right track. So I am pleased to announce that the club is now ready to kick it up a notch. Bam!

 

Starting next week we have our joint meeting with the Doctor Who Club of Victoria, - Saturday 28th March from 1pm at the Guides Hall, 33 Myers st Geelong.

Following their convention (this coming weekend) with Peter Davidson and Mark Strickson we will be having Peter Davidson episodes, and fun and games for kids of all ages (even the big ones).

Prices: $5 non-members, $3 for SFFiG or DWCV members.

I won't be able to be at this one but please come along and have some fun, the Doctor Who Club always puts on a great day.

 

April 3 - Significant Quest - For all the Discworld fans come along and play the fan-made boardgame where you get to be a God of the Discworld.

Guides Hall, 33 Myers St, Geelong

Open 6:30pm for a 7pm start.

$5, or $3 members

 

And after that - fortnightly events:

 

April 17 - Time Travel Trivia - drawing from a bit of everything, there will be some Doctor Who, some Heroes, Star Trek, Red Dwarf, Futurama, HG Wells, Discworld, and anything else that has ever travelled through time and space.

 

May 1 - To Be Announced

 

May 15 - Star Trek Trivia - celebrating Star Trek XI's release we will have a Star Trek Trivia event

 

May 29 - To Be Announced

 

June 12 - Lord of the Rings Trivia - Based on both the movies and the books, also the drawing of our raffle for our beloved Smeagol!
