Important SFFiG News:
Time to kick it back a notch:
A couple of months ago we decided to try to kick SFFiG up a notch. Bam! Now we are instead needing to kick it back a notch... bam. So far trivia has been more successful than other events so we will be continuing with our previously scheduled trivia, every 4 weeks, with our new format of TV/games/etc. early in the evening and trivia starting a little after. If you have any suggestions or comments about events you'd like to see, please send me an email - this club is for everyone, and we need everyone's opinions!
Smeagol wants a home:
We have a Smeagol statue, from the Two Towers box set, that is in need of a home. You can buy tickets for the raffle at just $1 each, available at any standard SFFiG meet. Raffle drawn at Lord of the Rings Trivia - July 3!
*If you can't make it to the trivia night but would like to buy some tickets just let me know before the ed of June and we can organise something.*
Ron & Hermione need to get drunk:
We have a beautiful set of Harry Potter mugs donated for raffle featuring Ron Weasley on one mug and Hermione Granger on the other. Tickets @ $1 each - on sale at Lord of the Rings trivia and drawn at Harry Potter trivia.
Upcoming Events:
At every event look out for free tea & coffee as well as a door prize! A variety of prizes at each trivia night.
