The Time Has Come (as a well-known Walrus once said) To Talk Of Many Things.
Such things include;
Choosing a name for the club
Formation of a possible Club committee (for those interested)
Creating a proper membership system for the club
Brainstorming Ideas for events
And Much More! (Seas, Ships and Ceiling Wax are all tentative items at this stage)
The club has been going for roughly six months now, and our email list has grown quite well. So I feel it's time to bring other people interested in helping run the club together to help it carry on into the future (maybe in a hovercar or something like that).
We will be needing a financial membership system at some stage, to cover things such as a regular newsletter and the club's insurance, something we will be needing if we hold any more events like Martin Pearson a few weeks back, a big thanks to Darren at Gifts for the Geek for helping us out to make that happen!
So if you're interested in having your say on what our club should be doing in the future come along to Gaming Knights (3rd floor) on Saturday the 18th of November at 3pm. You don't have to have anything to do with committee work, that will be for just those of us that enjoy pain at a later time.
Coincidentally this will also be the date of Alan Moore's birthday. We all know Alan from the original League of Extraordinary Gentlemen and V for Vendetta graphic novels. Happy Birthday Alan.
So once again that is:
Sat 18 November
3pm
Gaming Knights 3rd floor (Rock O Cashell Lane - off Lt Malop St)
Bring Ideas
