I would agree. The 23rd is far too close to Christmas for most
people. I too am booked on that day.
I also agree about Polls - by the time you got the poll organised,
then waited for people to respond, it would be Christmas 2008. This
is not meant to be a criticism on our members, it's just that not
everyone is able to check their e-mails on a regular basis
Set the 16th, pick a movie, pick a time and let us know when and where.
I vote Beowulf, on the 16th, sometime in the afternoon.

end up dragging things out and making things more complicated than
necassery this close to the Christmas season of silliness."

around a lot for the next couple of weeks to to moving house. I will
try to stop in and add comments where I can to organise our movie
night but the brain won't be operational at all times :-).Current
prospects for our Christmas movie times as shown on the polls at the
moment favour Friday evening and Sunday evening.Since there are also a
few votes for Sunday daytime I'd lean towards a Sunday evening. So
unless this changes drastically in the next week or so we're probably
looking at Sundays the 16th or 23rd - any strong preferences either
way?As far as movies go Carmel suggested Beowulf and 1480, at our
recent meeting we also had Golden Compass suggested.Any other
suggestions before I set up a poll? Do we need a poll?~Ben--- In

still showing, duh) are Boewulf and 1480 (I think that's correct. )

having a get-together roughly 2 weeks before Christmas where we go to
see a current movie at a cinema, then perhaps go somewhere for coffee,
etc. afterwards.I've created a poll for working out days/times for
this, we just need to work out movies as well.So please suggest some
movies you'd like to see, within the next week I'd like to put up
another poll for the movie so we can decide what we'll be going to
see.~Ben > > > > > > >
