Not to worry guys,

We got to see the movie, all three of us (meant all the more movie for us!)

The movie itself, after a while to think about it, I decided was not for me. It was mostly action, bood, death, semi-nakedness, etc.Which is great for those that like it, just not my cup of coffee.

I never read the original tale, so can't say how close it was. but it was interesting nevertheless. The animation was brilliant and the popcorn was in abundance :-D

David (my other half) is down with the flu, so I knew he'd not be going, but i often have issues with fatigue (not chronic fatigue so the docs tell me, but might as well be at times) and last night it all caught up with me at around 7 o'clock. I do hope the film did the story justice, and look forward to seeing it maybe at an earlier time slot. Hoping too, that enough members showed up to make the social outing a worthwhile experience.
