hi there..it is interesting to know that our version of the biggest
loser can also be seen by you guys as we get to see your version as
well most of the time. You mentioned that you were confused by the
weight loss. Are you aware that we measure our weight loss in kilos
and not pounds as that is probably why they didn't seem to lost that
much. Like when we watch it in pounds here, there is a footnote at
the bottom of the screen which converts it in kilos. If you get to
see season 2 there is even more twists and turns and a player gets
the power to send another female home with one single vote. In some
ways I didn't like that they messed with the old format but I think
the show should concentrate more on losing wieght rather than forming
alliances etc as we are not watching or playing survivor lol.Godd to
get your perspective on things.

Yank!.  Just watched a 3 day marathon showing of the first season of
Biggest Loser- Australia.  The show was wonderful!  So much better than
the ones here in the states.  The only thing I didn't quite  get is the

and Bob and Jillian are great.  The challenges were far harder than the
ones over here!  That is why I was amazed at how little weight they
dropped before they went home for the time to work on their own. The

I am going through a weight loss challenge for our Biggest Loser fan
Podcast. Each week apart from discussing the show i will talk about how
i am going with my weight loss/lifestyle change. Actually in the last
week i have lost half and inch on my gut which was a shock. We have
been interviewing last years contestants as well (Shane coming next

Hi guys, wanted to mention that we will be hosting a weekly Podcast
(online radio show you can download as mp3) on the new season of
Biggest Loser called 'Chew The Fat' (good huh!). We have just
completed a season discussing Australian Idol (Idol Sparks Podcast).
We are doing this Podcast to try to help people make changes in their
own lives by providing information, discussion and entertainment via
the medium of Podcasting.

The Podcast will include some amazing interviews over the coming weeks
with some of the guys from the last season including Shane, David, Jo,
Tracy and winner Adro! They have been so kind to do this.

We have been lucky enough to have gained the support and inclusion of
Sandy Frazer, food coach and bestselling author of the Livin Lite
recipe books. In fact as part of this Podcast she will be assisting me
with my own weight loss (gulp). What I hope this will do is resolve
the biggest issue with this show - how does a person who works full
time and has other interests actually lose weight?

This is a free fan Podcast, we do not make any money from this at all.

We would love to hear directly from those of you who attempted to get
on the show (perhaps we can interview you?) plus would love you to
join me (host Ganesha) in following Sandys programme to try and lose
weight along with the new contestants. We can look out for each other.

I would have lost the plot had Harry won. There is no way he should
have been there at all.
Wal was the incredible shrinking man, what a great bloke too to give
half the money to the kids burns unit.
I could not believe the change in Shane too, he looked hot. He is so
much more confident now. It really shows

Who would have thought? At the start Shane was just a big hairy guy,
now he is SMOKIN HOT!!!
Even my 16 year old daughter said wow mum he is hot!

There is an article in this week's tv week about a cheater exposed in
the final 3 and apparently there is going to be one last twist towards
the end. Unfortunately it didn't mention who the cheater was but it
will be interesting to know who and how they have been discovered
cheating. I would really like to know how to cheat at moving those
unwanted kilos lol

I am totally with you Deb!
There is no way that they should have let the eliminated contestants
back in with a shot at winning.
I will not be watching if Harry wins, I hope Kristy, Adro and Fiona
stick together and beat him with the first weigh in.
It should be the final 3 to go through with Harry left in the dust.

I haven't heard one thing about harry being caught cheating. All I read was that orginally they decided to make it a final 4 instead of a final 3 because of all the cheating involved which I thought they just referred to the water loading but it could be other things. But if you can cheat in losing weight i would really like to know how as my scales have still been stubborn even though I feel I have lost weight!

to be eliminated, so I don't take much notice of what radio announcers say

I am really disgusted at the bringing back of the eliminated contestants.
Once you are eliminated you are gone, end of story. Makes a mockery of AJ's
comment to the eliminated contestant as they are leaving that "you are NOT
the biggest loser". If Harry ends up winning I will not be watching the
Australian version ever again.
