Upper Sixth 1961 VI adjoining years Alumni -- and their VI friends

This is mainly a group for the Alumni, both Arts and Science, of the Victoria Institution, Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, for those who were in these years: Upper Six 1960, 1961, 1962, Form 5 1958, 1959, 1960. However, other VI alumni who are in touch (broadly interpreted) with these alumni are also welcome to join. You do NOT need a yahoo id to join -- and you may use it for exchanging information, posting photos, etc. The impetus for its formation was the projected 50th anniversary class reunion in 2011, but its aim is now simply a forum for these VI classes. In response to an appeal for an earlier "warm-up" reunion, one was held on 14 April 2007 in the Equatorial Bangi. Alumna Padmini Menon has prepared a report of the reunion that is available from the VI U6 61 subpage of the VI web page; that subpage has many items of nostalgia for the more sentimental among you! For the moment the two "owners" of our group are Foo Yeow Khean (aka Norman Foo) and Wong Yin Fook (aka Yin Wong), and Khoo Khee Ming is a "moderator". Just to satisfy your curiosity, Yin Fook and Yeow Khean are among the four in the photo here, taken in Mike Loo's house in Reading, UK, July 2006. The fourth person is Ho Kah Poong.
