No shows around here until June. We have hit a big bald spot as far
as shows go in Canberra. Although there was a double out at
Cootamundra, which is a couple of hours from here, but in this part
of the world, that's basically a local show!
As for this group, it belongs to all the members, to everyone who
wants to be a part of it, loves or even just appreciates longhairs
and wants to learn more, or share what they already know. Maree, you
have so much info yourself from a few years back, I loved the tales
of dogs I've only heard of when you stayed up at Easter. Maybe we
can do a little to battle the negativity that seems to be part of
the dog world these days. It is ridiculous when people speak about
someone as if they are a bad person just because they are showing a
dog they don't like. They love their dogs just like the rest of us.
It would be really great if you could pass on the address of the
group to people in the states, the more, the merrier. Anyone over
there is even more isolated than we are. At least our dogs are
allowed in the ring. We are getting some great pics in the albums
now (Ingrid will have to give lessons to the rest of us as to how to
do it!).
I understand Longs have just been recognised in Canada, but it's not
on their stuff on the web yet. Anyone got any contacts ove there?
Sorry this is a bit of a ramble, just edit it as you go. I should go
to bed! I feel like this should have 'We Are Family' playing over
it!
