Hi all,
Just to clarify the situation in Canada. Longs have not been
recognised as was the rumour, there was a vote (the breeders & clubs
I'm guessing) and the vote went through in the 70 %s (you know what
I mean) to accept them as a variety, but not a different breed. They
will be shown on their own like here. It has now gone on to their
National body, but it could take a year or so to go through. So they
are on their way. I got this from a guy in Canada, so I'm thinking
it's pretty much from the horses mouth. He and his wife use longs in
their breeding programme, smart people.
Also, everyone with a web site, don't forget to put your link on the
link page that can be found in the menu at the side of the page.
Ingrid's already got hers there, it's another way of sharing info.
I am still building mine. Slowly.
