Re: [Weimaraner_Longhaired] New Member

Hi madonna
welcome to the forum. Usually it is sunbathing that bleaches the dogs coat and
it is entirely individual. I have at the moment 3 longhairs and one sunbakes and
has since burnt her nose and her coat!!!!! The other two have lovely dark coats
and one is her half sister!!! What can I suggest - only that you keep her
indoors during the day or under cover or put up with the coat. I take the
viewpoint that mine are showdogs second and farm/pet dogs first so Paris comes
to the shows with her burnt coat for about half the year! But she has a lovely
time running around outside and sunbaking all year round.
I saw your dog and his brother online and they both look very nice. Good luck
with him.
cheers Ingrid and co.
