Hello Bonnie, Ingrid, and Marjolein
Thank you all for your suggestions (albeit not exactly what I was
hoping to hear!lol).
Ayela's tail has been 'unimpressive' for around 8months now (she has
had a heat in this time (it was a bit late - as was all the other
females in my region at that time for some reason) and she has had a
litter of pups in this time. (The pups are now 8 wks old).
She does not chew or bite her tail. She does not have fleas (it's
winter here and I am quite obsessive about flea control these days)
As i said - the only thing she does do is roll alot (she loves to
roll!) and she of course has a constantly wagging tail!
Her full brother that i have met has a beautiful tail. Her full
sisters tail was docked by mistake but is still quite furry. The 1/2
siblings i have met of hers all have great tails to. (All these dogs
live in the south island so the climate is allot colder.)
If anybody else has any suggestions on how to improve her tail - itd
love to know.
Thank you,
Rachael

there are raw spots as well as the hair loss? Where we live, fleas
are a problem. And the topical fleas treatments tend to just lay on
top of his long hair-no matter how much time I spend parting his
hair to apply the stuff onto his skin. He often will suffer fleas
at the base of his spine and on his tail, although they don't seem
to be bothering him anywhere else.
