Hi everyone,
got this from another list. The site is for a movie that is coming out,
about a guy who dies and comes back as his wife's dog. But it has a game,
for you to find out what kind of dog you would be. Let us know what you are,
it seems I am an Irish Terrier!

John went to visit his 90 year old grandfather in a very secluded area of
Geogia. After spending a great evening chatting the night away, John's
grandfather prepared breakfast of bacon, eggs and toast.

However, John noticed a film-like substance on his plate, and questioned his
grandfather,
"Are these plates clean?"
His grandfather replied, "They are as clean as cold water can get them. Just
you go ahead and finish your meal, Sonny!"

For lunch the old man made hamburgers. Again, John was concerned about
plates as his appeared to have tiny specks around the edge that looked like
dried egg and asked,
"Are you sure these plates are clean?"
Without looking up, the old man said, "I told you before, Sonny, those
dishes are as clean as cold water can get them. Now don't you fret, I don't
want to hear another word about it!"

Later that afternoon, John was on his way to a nearby town and as he was
leaving, his grandfather's dog started to growl, and wouldn't let him pass.

John yelled, and said, "Grandfather, your dog won't let me get out to my car
"
Without diverting his attention from the football game he was watching on TV
  the old man shouted......
                              "COLD WATER, GO LAY DOWN!!!!!!!"

Hi!

I am new to this forum. My beloved Donna has got some Australian
bloodlines in her, some of which I would very much appreciate to have
a little more knowledge. The reason is partly just a general
knowledgeinterest and also I am trying to find out wheather she might
be a longhaircarrier. This is her pedigree:

http://www.ramblers.se/linda/extendedpeddonna.htm

Have some guestions:

ANKC205480 Besko Belle Chardonnay

ANKC200063 AUCH Besko Roy Orbison Nrd Rrd

Which are the parents and grandparents of these dogs?

Greetings

Linda

Hi!

My name is Linda Hoflin, writing from Sweden. I have recently mated
my beloved bitch Donna to a stud with mainly Germnan blood here is
Sweden. Due to an interest in her potential as longhair carrier and
due to a general interest I am trying to find info on her
forefathers. These 2 dogs I have not found the parents and
grandparents of: ANKC200063 AUCH Besko Roy Orbison Nrd Rrd and
ANKC205480 Besko Belle Chardonnay. Grateful for any help.
This is her full pedigree:

Hello Lind, and welcome to the forum!
Someone else will have to help you out with the dogs you mention,
but I can tell you that Lazer Beam was definitley a carrier, and he
is behind a lot of the longhairs in Australia. Hope to see some
photos of your Donna soon.

Linda are you filling in the pedigree of your dog?? Some of the ones
you have missing like Divani Enter Thstar are on the britfeld website
(http://www.britfeld.com/cgi-bin/geneal.pl?
op=tree&index=501&gens=5&db=wei.dbw). Can't find anything about the
two you've listed though.

Hi Tasha, pedigrees are a passion of mine. I was taking mine back further,
as I don't think the little bit we get is nearly enough. I had them all done
on big cardboard sheets, many with pics, but when we moved, they got wrecked
Perhaps I should resurrect it and ask the list for help with my dead ends,
and I did have a couple of them. I am also a keen historian, going to show
results and history of our beautiful grey ones, hairy and not. I collect
all the pics from the past that I can get, just got some more on the weekend
I just found the results of Sydney Royal 2000, there were 11 hairies. 2004
there were 5, I think. One day I'll put it all together.

You know I'd crawl over broken glass for your little collection ;-)
Australian or American?
There is a new pic of a lovely longhair called Heidi in the photo albums,
just put up yesterday.

If you find a copy of the Australasian Weimaraner published in 1991
by the austalian and new zealand club grab it with both hands this is
one on my wish list!! Along with the pictorial history volume 3 from
the american kennel club... if you send me a list of books you want
I'll keep an eye out I'm hoping crufts might have a few little gems.

Hi Tasha,
I received my Weimaraner Club newsletter this week and I am
sure if you contact Jill Mallard, she has just found some copies
of the Australasian Weimaraner.
If you don't have her contact I will bring it to work tomorrow
and send it to you.

Thanks for the offer. I already have this one it was the first book
that I came across very interesting for historical purposes and for
the pictures. I managed to get permission from the publishers to use
the pictures in the book for a different website. Fantastic one of a
mixed litter :-)
