Adelaide_Autism - South Australian parents on-line support group

This is an on-line forum for South Australian parents with children having a spectrum disorder such as, Aspergers, Autism PDD-NOS, ADD, ADHD or any other childhood disintegrative disorder. Parents are encouraged to share information on topics such as research, early interventions, biomedical, education, dietary needs, occupational, speech and behavioural therapies as well as their experiences with authorities or service providers amongst anything of interest that other SA parents may benefit from. The overall theme is to promote better services and outcomes for all SA families. This group bridges two very interesting (general & biomed) parent support groups in Adelaide. Signing up to this on-line group is easy. Be sure to enter your home email address when setting up your subscription. This is handy if you have requested to receive daily digests and to ensure that you don't get lost from the group. Otherwise you may need to use your default Yahoo webmail to receive group messages. Alternatively, you may wish to alter your subscription and elect not to receive group emails. Check back with Adelaide_Autism when convenient. On receiving messages, feel free to respond to the group directly from your home email without having to log onto the group forum.

Finally, the parents on-line group is for advocating and sharing information. Join into topics and feel free to upload to the files' section with local Adelaide information, such as GFCF suppliers, organic marts, or share tasty and practical recipes of foods that are non-tactle that ASD kids can enjoy. Otherwise, simply email interesting info to the moderator or group owner.
