ACSIG was established in May 2007 as a non-denominational gathering of those interested in Agile practices in Canberra, Australia. Of particular interest are:

- Lessons learned in implementing Agile in a Government environment
- Discussion of issues encountered
- Agile tips and techniques
- Networking with the Agile community
Methodologies discussed may include eXtreme Programming, Scrum, Lean, DSDM, FDD etc.
