I investigated the recently reported "3 letter mailbox" name logon problem with the AllTalk Web server interface.
The problem was identified in the AllTalkWI.exe CGI and has been resolved. The update is available from http://www.lrshealth.com.au/downloads/alltalkwi.exe (build 1.0.0.121). Replace the existing exe in the alltalk web pages under alltalk/apps/
I also investigated the problem whereby the create mailbox function does not return a successful response (even though the mailbox is successfully created).
I could find no immediate programatic problem. The problem seems to be limited to MS Internet Explorer. The function actually works fine with Google Chrome and Safari. The interim solution is to enable debugging for the create process which will return the outcome for the create process and a link to the new mailbox rather than trying to immediately re-direct. To enable debugging, in the AllTalk web pages, under AllTalk/Apps/_private update the settings.inf file by adding "debug=create"
