Law Students for Social Justice (LSSJ) is a non-partisan group based at the Australian National University (ANU) in Canberra.
The objective of the society is to foster a culture of social awareness among law students. We promote critical thinking and facilitate constructive discussion on issues of social justice otherwise marginalised by a traditional legal education.
We have regular meetings and undertake a number of projects on a wide variety of social justice issues.
Stay tuned for a bumper 2008, with practical skills workshops, public forums, a national conference in Perth, and the establishment of the Law Students for a Just Community National Network (see the 'files' section on the left for more detail).
