Hi Lea,
Thanks for the opportunity to share our photos. I have one very
special photo of me and Matthew taken very soon after birth which I
love and I would love to share it with you all. It's in black and
white. Because Matthew lived for only an hour, all the photos taken
of him alive were taken before we put his hat (and other clothes) on
(he was wrapped up in a blanket pretty quickly, but we took very few
photos in these previous minutes). I have a few friends who have been
happy to see these "raw" shots of him, which I am very grateful for.
He is my beautiful baby boy and I wish I could show him off to
everyone. My Dad has seen the pictures, but doesn't think it would be
helpful for my mum to see them. She's not really communicating with
me about her feelings or asking about mine, so it's up to me to bring
Matthew up and sometimes I feel like I am imposing on them or
something by talking about him. Anyway, that's for another time....
