Bella is doing much better. Broke out in a measles rash and finally
everything started to settle down.
I am so exhausted though and seem to be struggling to hold it all
together. I miss Mercy Grace so so much and just cant get excited
about this pregnancy. I am so afraid of losing this baby too that i
just cant seem to connect properly. I feel like it is the slowest
pregnancy so far and it will never end. Sorry i am just miserable at
the moment. and i still have another 24 weeks 5days to go....

Jenny, if you would like to show your darling little girl off I don't think anyone would mind you adding them....but that's entirely your call hon.  We, of all people, understand just how beautiful our special children are.

As for meeting at the Hyperdome or Ikea, sounds great, just as long as it doesn't inconvenience you hon.  I met a couple of my online friends at the Hyperdome in March or April (see a pattern forming?) and it was nice to stroll around and have lunch....but we did get in trouble for taking photos there grrrrrrr.

Anyway, as I mentioned, I will definately let you know when I'm coming back up and will try tomake a day of it up there.

Hi all,
Just added some photos.  Just thought I'd let you know that I won't
put any of Isabell on there because she was very small.

Lea, we could meet at Ikea or the Hyperdome as well because the bus
goes right past my house.  Just some other ideas to throw out
there.  If a stranger were trying to hurt me they would have a tough
time getting past my dog!!  My mum can't even get in without some
serious barking from the dog.

Take care guys

Liz, one of the girls at the meet the other day was from Airlie Beach, it was a great opportunity to meet someone from so far away, so we won't discount our chances at meeting you someday love.

We have thunder rumbling overhead as I type here, apparently Sydney are coping some bad weather too, must be the day/night for exciting weather......we could do with a little rain here so I won't complain if it starts to belt down, but I am trying to get washing done for my holiday next week, typical LOL.

Hello every one,
How are you all doing today???? Its raining here and is so so
miserable. I live in Gladstone QLD and would definatly love to meet
all of you wonderful people. I don't think that any one lives really
close to me. I am about a 6hr drive north of Brisbane.

Welcome Vanessa, i'm so sorry that you have the need to join this
group. I hope that we can all give you the support that you need.
this group done wonders for me, i don't think i would have got
through with out it.

Tammie, where are you. i was just wondering the other day where you
have gone and now Lea is calling out for you. Please pop in and say
hi!!!!!

Well, my kids are being horrible today. Damn rainy weather, drives
them mad to be locked up inside all day. I think that i had better go
and get the paints or some thing out for them before they destroy my
house even more.

Take care every one, talk again soon.

P.S. I'm real sorry about my boring post the other night

small world. We usually go there on tuesdays because its free for
kids under 2 on that day. I would be happy to meet up with you in
the next few weeks. The only thing is we only have the one car and
my partner takes it to work (he starts work at 5am, otherwise I
would take him). There are a few places not far from my place we
could meet that I can walk to or you could come to my place. Up to
you.

Vanessa, Welcome. Sorry that you have a need to join this group but
we are all super friendly. I have'nt been here long but they have
all been amazing.

Take care all
Jenny

Jenny, I read your file after you posted it, man I was bawling my eyes
out, so beautiful.

Isn't it cathartic to sit and write and remember, it seems many of us
are in such a bloody spin during our birth experiences and beyond that
it takes some time to go back and truly remember, I know that the
times I've done it I have felt physically worn out from the emotional
reaction I have...it's great, so healthy even if it hurts as it's
happening.

Petinna, how is Bella doing?

I'm also sorry to read that you're having some trouble with your
Gram.....the dear oldies can say the worst things without realising.
I'll never forget my beloved Nanny basically telling me she didn't
believe in heaven or the afterlife and therefore couldn't really
relate to my thoughts on Ben being in God's arms......I just had to
smile and accept our differences.

Sorry this is a bit rushed, it's very late and I'm on my way to bed,
toothbrush stuffed in mouth. I'll try to catch up with you all very
soon, I've been a bit of a busy girl lately but think of you all daily
I promise.

Lots of hugs all round

Hi everyone

I was lucky enough to get together with some members of another
support group I belong to (for mums of surviving twins) this week, it
was so wonderful to be amongst people who had walked a mile in similar
shoes and it prompted me to come here and chat about it.

Do any of you live near another member? Are you interested in getting
together for a coffee, a hug, a group meeting?

It's not always feasible, but I can't recommend it enough....hugs from
people who know are the best!

So, chat amongst yourselves or on the board, work out where we all
live and consider a meeting, you'll be glad you did.

Vanessa, welcome to AS~AP

I am so sad to read that you are needing the support of our group
during your pregnancy, I dearly hope that you will find that we are
able to give you good counsel as you wade through the ups and downs
of your emotions at this time.

My name is Lea, I'm co-founder of the group. I gave birth to my twin
son ~Ben~ and his sister Nara on 8 June 2006 at 34 weeks gestation,
~Ben~ survived for 1 hour and 21 minutes and he passed away
peacefully in his daddy's arms.

We live in far northern NSW along with our eldest daughter Sage, Nara
our surviving twin and our rainbow baby Arden.

Please feel free to write and tell us all about yourself...feel free
to ask as many questions and talk as much as you need to about your
feelings, that's what we're here for.

If you feel you might like to talk to me on the phone, please send me
an email and I'll give you a buzz or vice versa.

HI

Bella has been really sick with something that we dont know what it
is but has terrible temps and is just miserable therefore mummy is
not getting much sleep.

I thought the same about the lady at the shops. People need to learn
to keep there mouths shut. That includes family at times. I have had
problems with my Gram dealing with Mercy Grace and she has said some
horrible things without even realising it.

im heading off for a lie down whilst bella is sleeping and John is
heading to the shops so ill have peace and quiet.

Hey Everyone,
Just checking in to see how everyone is. I have caught the flu even
though I had my flu vaccine 3 weeks ago. I was meant to go to
dreamworld tomorrow with a friend but now I have to postpone.
Thought I'd go to dreamworld since I haven'nt been for a few years
and I'm not pregnant so now I can go. Also, if I wait til Troy's
older I will have to take him too. Im a big kid myself.

Liz- I read about the lady abusing you in the shops. HOW RUDE!! I
can't stand people that put there opinion where it is not asked. My
mum was abusive when I was growing up and I wished that she would
only give me a smack when I was in trouble. It is the parents
choice to give their child a smack or not. Also I think your soon
to be sister in law sounds like a cow. Not very nice to be saying
those things to you about not having any more kids. Sometimes you
can't pick your family.

We are taking Troy to the Playschool concert next week. I have
never taken him to a show so we will see how it goes. Hopefully he
does'nt run onto the stage and start hugging them all or something
like that. I hope they have barriers.
Anyways, enough from me, I could go on forever.
Take care all, Jenny

Well this is all very good and exciting news Liz, I am thrilled that you came back to us with good news, and the mystery of perhaps having a second little bubba onboard, wow!  Having twins is truly a double blessing, there are a couple of twin mums amongst us, myself included (our angel Ben is Nara's twin as you know) so you'll have plenty of advice if that's how things turn out.........but no matter how many babies you are carrying, all our thoughts and best wishes are with you just the same.

Good evening to every one,
How is every one on this fine wednesday night? I hope that every one
is doing well.

Sorry i'm a little late in letting you all know how my scan went.
Every thing seemed really great. I am 7wks and 4days, which makes me
due on the 3rd of Jan. Bub measured 1.5cm long and had a heart rate
of 145bpm. There was a little some thing extra though. Don't get too
excited coz its not confirmed (i'm trying hard not too) but there is
a possibilty that it might be twins. The fella doing my scan said
that there are 3 choices. It could be twins, it could be 1 live twin
and 1 deceased or it could be an old bleed. He really couldn't give
me a proper answer because of where this little mystery was laying.
he reckons that he couldn't get a close enough look to know for sure
so now i have to wait until my 12wk scan to find out. This is going
to drive me mad!!!!! I highly doubt that it will turn out to be twins
but its still a nice thought. He also said that if its an old bleed
and it won't affect the baby and not to panic if i have some light
spotting. So, thats my goss for the day. I had better be off so i can
get a certain little man off to sleep. he had a late sleep again
today so he's running around like a mad man at the moment. At least
Taliah is a good girl for me. Take care every one. Talk to you all
again soon.

Hello to all,
Pettina- my scan is it 11am on wednesday. I am starting to get
excited but am trying to stop myself as i don't want to be
disapointed again if any thing happens. I will try to come on
wednesday afternoon or wednesday night to let you know how every
thing went.

Jenny- i just read your story and it brought me to tears. Its funny
how us mothers have a 6th sence and we some times just know when some
things wrong. I am so sorry that you had to go though this. Just know
that we are all always here if you need to have a vent. this group
has been such a great support for me and I love every one in here.

Well, as usual these kids of mine are being little terrors and
driving me mad. Matty refused to have a sleep today so i have missed
out on my hour of peace and quiet. At least he'll be asleep nice and
early tonight so that will be nice.

i have about another 3 loads of washing to do so i had better be off
so i can get it all finished. take care every one. Talk to you all
again soon.

Thankyou all for being so welcoming. I tried to type up my story as
correctly as I could remember. Must admit, I had'nt thought about it
so intensely since it all happened. I think I read that a few of you
have children around Troys age. At least we can all chat about any
issues with any of our other children. The only problem I have with
Troy is that he is so on the go all the time. At least that gives me
a lot to do. Talk to you all soon. Thinking of you on wednesday Liz.

You did such a wonderful job of typing your story and am glad you were
able to spend some time holding your little girl.

My isabella is only five days younger than trOY.
