Just to let everyone know that the sand bar at the Denmark Inlet is
due to be opened on 3rd June. The level of water in the inlet is
very high for this time of the year due to heavy autumn rains.

This means that for about the next 6 months, walkers wishing to
cross between Nullaki Peninsula and Denmark will not be able to walk
across the inlet opening at Ocean Beach.

The options to cross will be:-

a) To use Denmark Dingy Hire to get you across.
b) To get vehicle transport via Eden road.
c) To walk via Eden Road which is around 25-30km.
d) Helicopter if you can find one.
