John Chapman has a new book coming out soon on the Larapinta Trail. Keep an
eye on <http://www.john.chapman.name/nt-walk.html>. Also see
<http://www.nt.gov.au/ipe/pwcnt/index.cfm?attributes.fuseaction=open_page&page_i\
d=1479>
which provide a series of PDF files giving A4 maps and notes on each
section. Lone Dingo Adventures have a FAQ on the track at
<http://www.lonedingo.com.au/faq.htm>. John and Lyn Daly aslo have a book
coming out. See <http://www.takeawalk.com.au/LarapintaTrail.htm>.
For a personal reflection on walking the trail, see
<http://www.austintek.com/larapinta_2002/larapinta.html>.
For our walk we are flying in on the Saturday and then we are heading out
to Redbank Gorge on the Sunday. We are using Alice Wanderer
<http://www.alicewanderer.com.au/larapinta.php> to transport us to Redbank
Gorge and to do our food drops. The over the next fifteen days we are
walking back to Alice Springs. To make it a bit easier, we have three food
drops planned. Should be good.

Was actually quite good ... we didn't get any serious rain.
