Many thanks for those Larapinta links. Most interesting.
The report of the 2002 walk is an odd one. They seem to average at best
2km an hour, and sometimes 1km/hr. Perhaps it's a reflection of their
apparent dependence on tinned food, but even a recognised slowcoach like
me can do better than that. (Grin). They certainly put in some very long
days and suffered badly from blisters.
Await with interest your comments after you return. Have a really great
walk!
