UPDATE: Mt Cooke Region - Bibbulmun Track   Message List
Reply | Forward Message #122 of 3610 |

Hi All

Conservation and Land Management (CALM) have advised this morning (January
13, 2003) that the bushfire in the Monadnocks Conservation Park has
destroyed the campsites at Mt Cooke and Nerang on the Bibbulmun Track.

It is anticipated that the section of the track, between Millars Log Road
(section 10) and Pike Road (section 11) will remain closed for the
remainder of the summer.

Regards
Andrew Priest
