Hello Wendy,

Although I do not know you, I am sad to hear that you are not in the best of
health and that your state of health has forced you to hang up your boots
for a while.

Please stay with the group and have your daughter keep you up to date with
the goings on of the group. When you have regained your health we may meet
down the track and chat around the campfire. I am always meeting new people
on the track and although I am of the shy nature I do enjoy talking about
gear and my next favourite subject, FOOD.

All of the best for the future.

It's time to hang up my boots. As many of you know my health has not been
well over the past few months and I am no longer able to hike or even answer
my own emails (my daughter is typing this one). I've enjoyed all the
discussions about dehydration, GPSs and camping gear, and although I wasn't
an active participant in the group, I gained a lot from the discussions.
Thank you for allowing me to be part of this group. Look forward to seeing
you down the track.
