I am putting the following walk on the Perth Bushwalkers Club program
for February 2006. Interested members and non-members should contact
me ASAP to book a place. Oh BTW for those interested in geocaching
the opportunity will be there to pick up two maybe three geocaches as well.

FEBRUARY 18 - 19, 2006 SHAKE OUT THOSE COBWEBS AT DARDANUP - Andrew

Continuing the tradition of the past three years (?) Andrew will be
again leading a social summer pack carry. This will be an easy walk
of about 6 km up in the Darling Ranges. The plan is to walk in (or if
you prefer ride (MTBs)) along the Munda Biddi Trail to the Dardanup
Campsite. We will head off from Perth mid Saturday afternoon. On
Sunday the opportunity will there to divert to the nearby Oakley Dam
for a swim before retiring to a nearby pub for lunch and
refreshments. As I said, a social backpack! :-) So if you are
interested in walking or bringing along your mountain bike for the
ride please contact Andrew at andrew@... to book a spot.
Andrew rates this walk as easy and good one for anyone interested in
getting a little taste of backpacking.
