hi folks,

I am also new to the list, having picked up a link in Aus.bushwalking

I'm in my mid 50's and live in NE Vic, and predominantly do day walks,
or multi day walks from a base camp, with my wife.

Occasionally, when I can get away, I do overnighters with 1 of my
sons, or by myself, although I'm hoping my wife might do a short(ish)
overnight with me at Christmas

Actually whilst I'm typing this I'm sitting in a Motel at Corryong
having just finished 3 days in the Burrawa-Pine mountain national park.
