Further to my earlier posting on titanium (bit odd, by the way ... my
reply to Mark turned up Friday evening, a good 30 hours after I sent
it!)
Happened to be in Wellington Surplus yesterday and picked up a nice
little anodised aluminium cup, with a plastic handle and lip, for $6.95.
Weighs 85 grams and holds about 250mls. It's a Sportztrek brand, new to
market apparently. They also make a cooking set from the same material,
but time restraints meant I did not have a look at it. About $40. Will
have a closer look on Saturday if I get into town again. They seem to
have more bushwalking gear than they used to. And a collection of knives
that is quite mind-boggling.
Cheers, Tony
