Thanks Ralph, Mark, Andrew, I am preparing a disc with 200 odd photos on it
of this last walk if anyone wants a copy their welcome to it its mainly
about the Bibb track and the Campsites from Randall Road to Pemberton some
features I missed taking, others I did snap, it might be interesting to some
as a nostalgia trip, my pack and some gear shows up in some photos again
just for interest sake, it will be ready in about a week.
I snapped the photos mainly to show the family, (I have four children) what
their Mum and Dad get up to when they disappear for weeks, sometimes months,
at a time, I don't think any of them would like what we do, maybe one day!
I might post some of the better photos in the files one day.
We were supposed to be walking to Albany but a month before the walk I had
an operation and after being cleared by the Doctors to walk we started but I
was getting odd pains after a couple of hundred Kms so at Pemberton decided
to come home and have them checked out thankfully nothing is wrong but I
wanted to make sure.
When you have severe cramps in your stomach and vomiting at Grimwade
campsite in the middle of a freezing night and have to sit outside your
sleeping bag in your thermals next to a fire its not nice but the next day I
was OK and walked on to Pemberton.
No one else was affected so it couldn't be food poisoning or the water just
one of those mysteries.
Take care.
